What’s Coming Up: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Warner Bros. has finally dropped a trailer for one of the highly anticipated films of the year, and we’re already excited.

In the trailer of “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”, we get to feast our eyes on a young Albus Dumbledore, who is stunningly played by Jude Law. From what we can see, anyway. Jude is just a heartthrob through and through. Ahem.

The trailer itself is a bit thin in regards to the plot, but from what little that can be seen, the second installment of this franchise is set to pave a path for yet another thrilling blockbuster. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Newt Scamander’s (Eddie Redmayne) friend, Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz), and his brother, Theseus (Callum Turner. Check out the 1:36 mark of the trailer).

As many of you may recall, the first “Fantastic Beasts” film ended with Grindelwald’s (Johnny Depp) escape from the government. Expect to see Dumbledore and Scamander teaming up to stop that mad man in his tracks come the second movie.

What you should not expect, however, is an explicit background on Dumbledore’s romantic history with Grindelwald. As stated by director David Yates, Dumbledore’s sexuality will not make it explicitly in the upcoming film- which is a downer for many Potterheads, certainly, but this is just the second film, so there is hope yet.

Either way, we can’t wait to watch the second installment of “Fantastic Beasts”.

“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” will be in cinemas on November 16th
